Privacy Policy

MilliMount is a one-person business selling custom 3D-printed siding brackets. This policy explains plainly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We don't use dark patterns, we don't sell your data, and we keep this simple on purpose.

What we collect

When you place an order, the following information is collected:

• Siding measurements — the reveal and projection values (in millimeters) you enter in the configurator. These are the dimensions we print to.
• Name and shipping address — collected by Stripe at checkout so we can ship your bracket. We receive a copy of these after your order is confirmed.
• Phone number — collected by Stripe and passed to us for shipping carrier purposes only.
• Email address — collected by Stripe so we can send you an order confirmation.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details, or any financial information. Stripe handles all of that and we never see it.

How we use it

Your information is used for exactly one purpose: fulfilling your order. Specifically:

• Your measurements tell us what to print.
• Your name and address go on the shipping label.
• Your phone number may be passed to the carrier (USPS or UPS) in case there's a delivery issue.
• Your email is used to send you a confirmation and, if needed, to follow up about your order.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your order.

Stripe — our payment processor

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, you're interacting with Stripe's secure payment form. Stripe is PCI-DSS certified and handles your card data entirely. We never see or store your card number, expiry, or CVV.

Stripe has its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe may set cookies necessary for the payment form to function.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get read, where visitors come from, and where they give up. It sets cookies (_ga and similar) that let it recognise a returning browser. We use it to improve the site, not to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share what it collects.

Google Analytics 4 does not record your full IP address, and we have not enabled advertising features, remarketing, or ad personalisation. Google's own handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Functional cookies may also be set by Stripe when you proceed to checkout. These are strictly necessary for the payment process and cannot be opted out of without abandoning checkout.

We use no advertising cookies and no Facebook Pixel. To opt out of Google Analytics entirely, install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, or enable "Do Not Track" / an ad blocker — we do not attempt to work around either.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only parties who receive your data are:

• Stripe — to process your payment (see above).
• Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS) — your name, address, and phone number are shared with the carrier to deliver your order.

No one else. That's the complete list.

How long we keep your data

We retain order records — including your measurements and shipping information — for as long as necessary to handle potential issues with your order, and as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically seven years). Stripe retains payment records per their own retention policy.

Your rights — California residents (CCPA)

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know — you can ask us what personal information we've collected about you and how we've used it.
• Right to delete — you can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions (like retaining records for tax purposes).
• Right to correct — if we have inaccurate information about you, you can ask us to correct it.
• Right to opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. Payment data never touches our servers — Stripe handles that entirely. Order records are stored in Stripe's dashboard, which is protected by Stripe's enterprise-grade security infrastructure.

Children's privacy

MilliMount is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. For a small business like ours, significant changes are unlikely.
